In Nazi-occupied Belorussia, three Jewish brothers form a resistance group in the region's heavily-forested countryside. As the Bielski brothers continue their determined refusal to give in to their country's conquerors, they are joined by growing numbers of people seeking refuge in the woods from the horrors of the Nazi regime.
